From original Playbill: Roy Poole divides his time successfully between New York and California guest-starring on television in The F.B.I., It Takes A Thief, Judd For the Defense, and the films, Gaily, Gaily, with Melina Mercouri, and The Whole World is Watching with Burl Ives, for television. In films he appeared in Up the Down Staircase and Experiment in Terror; on Broadway in Poor Bitos, Moby Dick, Face of a Hero, Flowering Cherry, and more. He played Macbeth for the New York Shakespeare Festival and Kent in the Stratford, Connecticut production of King Lear, with Morris Carnovsky. Mr. Poole appeared in the original Under Milkwood with Dylan Thomas. He has a running part on the daytime TV Series, Love is a Many Splendored Thing.
