From original Playbill: Bruce MacKay was last featured as Rufio opposite Richard Kiley and Leslie Uggams in Her First Roman and before that in the hit musical Man of La Mancha. He was also Rudy Vallee's standby and played Bratt in the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Since his Broadway debut in 1954 in Kismet, he has been featured in such Broadway hits as Greenwillow, The Andersonville Trial, Donnybrook, Shinbone Alley, Oh, Captain, Copper and Brass, and as standby to Robert Weede in the Broadway and National Companies of Milk and Honey.
